Tampa Fireworks Celebration Locations
Friends of the Riverwalk, in partnership with the city of Tampa, will produce the Downtown Tampa Independence Day Fireworks Celebration on Wednesday, July 4 at 9 p.m. at the Tampa Convention Center, 333 S. Franklin St., Tampa.
Firework viewing will be available along the Tampa Riverwalk adjacent to the Tampa Convention Center as well as from other venues in the vicinity that offer a direct view of the harbor. Come out early to places like The Sail, Jackson’s Bistro Bar & Sushi, American Social Tampa, Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina and Yacht StarShip Cruises & Events to enjoy food, entertainment and fun while getting a good spot to view the fireworks.
Note: This July 4 fireworks display has been traditionally held at Channelside Bay Plaza. However, due to the current construction occurring on the waterfront park, a new location was selected to play host to the 2018 celebration.
This event is made possible through the support of our community partners including Water Street Tampa, Tampa General Hospital, Yacht Starship Cruises & Events, American Social, Jackson’s Bistro and the Marriott Waterside.

The American Victory Ship Mariners Memorial Museum will host a Fourth of July Family FunFest Wednesday, July 4 at 705 Channelside Drive, Tampa, behind the Florida Aquarium.
Celebrate the nation’s birthday with familyaboard a WWII ship from 6:30 a.m. to midnight.
There will be arts and crafts face painting, food, music and the best seats for the Channelside fireworks display.

Fourth of July Fireworks Cruise
Enjoy Tampa’s giant fireworks display from aboard the Yacht StarShip Dining Cruise. The cruise will begin boarding at 603 Channelside Drive, Tampa, at 7 p.m.
It runs from 7: 30 to 10 p.m. and includes a buffet with upscale American favorites, an open bar, DJ entertainment and a chance to watch the fireworks display to choreographed patriotic music.

July 4 At Busch Gardens
Busch Gardens will host its Independence Day festivities all day July 4. With the price of admission, residents can enjoy all the animal exhibits and thrill rides throughout the day. That evening, the theme park will celebrate with live entertainment and dancing along with an extended fireworks show set to patriotic music.
Fireworks Across The Bay-Pinellas County Locations
The city of St. Petersburg will celebrate Independence Day on July 4 with a Fireworks Across the Bay celebration at North Straub Park, 350 5th Ave. N.E.
This year’s fireworks are set to launch at 9:15 p.m., but they could go off as early as 8:30 or as late as 10 p.m., depending on the weather.
Prime viewing locations are Albert Whitted, 480 Bayshore Drive S.E.; North Straub, 400 Bay Shore Drive N.; South Straub, 198 Bay Shore Drive N.E.; North Shore, 901 N. Shore Drive N.E.; Elva Rouse on North Shore Drive N.E. and 10th Avenue N.E.; and Flora Wylie parks, 1400 N. Shore Drive N.E.
Vinoy Park will not be open to the public this year as that’s the fireworks launch location.
The event is free and open to the public. The event is sponsored by the city of St. Petersburg and St. Petersburg Parks & Recreation.

Fourth Of July In Gulfport
There will be a Kid’s Star-Spangled Banner Fishing Derby at Michael J. Yates Recreation Complex, 5730 Shore Blvd. S., from 8 to 11 a.m. Registration is at 7:30 a.m. Bring your own pole and tackle.
A family sand sculpture contest will take place on Gulfport Beach from 10 a.m. to noon with registration at 9:30 a.m. Afterward on Gulfport Beach, the Gulfport Historical Society will host its annual mullet toss at 12:30 p.m.
There will be a Fourth of July parade on Beach Boulevard starting at 6 p.m.
Then, the mayor and council members will welcome the public to a fireworks display on Gulfport Beach. The event kicks off at 7 p.m. at the northwest Gulfport Casino entrance, 5500 Shore Blvd. S. It will feature music by the New Horizons Band of Gulfport on the casino pad at 7:30 p.m. followed by the fireworks show at 9 p.m.
A fireworks show will start at 9 p.m. on Gulfport Beach near the Gulfport Casino, 5500 Shore Blvd. S., Gulfport. The best viewing spot is directly in front of the Gulfport Casino Ballroom on the sidewalk. But you can also watch from Gulfport Veterans Park, 5350 31st Ave. S. Gulfport.

Clearwater Celebrates With A Bang
The free family celebration from 6 to 10 p.m. will feature a patriotic concert, food, drinks, a children’s play area, local vendors and family-friendly activities. The fireworks show will run from 9 to 9:30 p.m.

Largo Lights Up The Skies
Enjoy food, live entertainment, inflatables, a pie-eating contest, a watermelon seed-spitting contest and other activities for all ages followed by a fireworks show at Largo Central Park, 101 Central Park Drive, Largo, on July 4.
The event kicks off at 6 p.m. and the fireworks display will begin at 9:15 p.m. Admission to the event is free. Bring chairs and blankets for the show. No dogs, alcohol, fireworks or coolers will be permitted.

Fourth Of July Safety Harbor Style
Bring the whole family out for a July 4 Celebration Safety Harbor style.
The day will start with a patriotic parade down Main Street in Safety Harbor from 10 a.m. to noon. There will be children’s activities, live entertainment, food vendors and live entertainment starting at 5 p.m.
Then grab a good seat in the Safety Harbor City Marina, 110 Veterans Memorial Lane, or Waterfront Park for a fireworks display at 9 p.m.
Or watch the fireworks from Harbor Bar, 840 Main St., Safety Harbor.
Harbor Bar will offer Fourth of July drink specials from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Celebrating On Treasure Island
Celebrate Independence Day on Treasure Island with a fireworks show at the beach at 104th Avenue and Gulf Boulevard starting at 9 p.m. July 4.
Off-site parking will be offered at Treasure Island Park for $15 per vehicle and Treasure Island Community Center for $10 per vehicle.

Patriotic Picnic In Tarpon Springs
The city of Tarpon Spring will present its 11th annual Fourth of July Picnic in the park Wednesday, July 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Craig Park, 208 S. Spring Blvd., off Tarpon Avenue at Spring Boulevard, just west of Alternate 19.
Bring lawn chairs, swimsuits and towels for a day of water slides, paddle boarding, inflatables, lawn games and other activities. There will be a hot dog-eating contest at noon for participants ages 16 and up
Rusty Trumpet will entertain the crowd from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with patriotic songs as well as hits from the ’60s to now. There will be free hot dogs and drinks while supplies last. After the picnic, head to Fred Howard Park beach, 1700 Sunset Drive, Tarpon Springs, at 8:30 p.m. for the city’s Fourth of July fireworks display.
The park, beach and causeway will be open for parking to view this event. Parking is free after 6 p.m.
Parking is limited so come early. After the park is full, the gates will be closed for safety. No alcoholic beverages will be permitted
The fireworks will be launched from the city’s Sunset Beach. For set-up and safety, the north end of Sunset Beach and the boat launch will be closed on Wednesday, July 4.The south side of the beach and causeway will close at 2 p.m.
Redington Shores Celebrates America
Enjoy fireworks in Redington Shores at North Redington Beach July 4 starting at dusk. Beach access is available at 182nd Avenue and Gulf Boulevard.
Fourth Fireworks On St. Pete Beach
Terry Cloth Tribute
TradeWinds Island Resorts on St. Pete Beach, 5500 Gulf Blvd., will host its 14th annual Patriotic Terry Cloth Tribute Wednesday, July 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
TradeWinds Resorts will use 975 colored towels to create a giant 13-star flag mosaic along the beachfront behind the resort. Guests can assist in placing the towels to form a mosaic of the original flag, while 13 of TradeWinds’ younger guests will pose as the stars on the flag, representing the original 13 colonies.
The Tropics Boat Tours, 25 Causeway Blvd., Slip #5, Clearwater Beach, will host a Fourth of July cruise Wednesday, July 4 from 7:30 to 9:45 p.m.
The two-hour cruise boat will have a premium view of the city’s fireworks display. Tickets for $45 for adults include access to the premium liquor bar.

The Starlite Majesty Dining Yacht also will offer prime viewing of fireworks on July 4. There will be entertainment, continental cuisine and a front seat to the Clearwater fireworks display. The cost of the 3 1/2-hour cruise if $81.75.
Road Warrior Benefit
Mastry’s Brewing Co., 7701 Blind Pass Road, St. Pete Beach, will host a Fourth of July benefit for the Road Warrior Foundation from noon to 10 p.m. on July 4.
The Road Warriors will be on site from 1 to 5 p.m. with their Can-Am Spyder.
There will be a 50/50 raffle, a DJ on hand spinning tunes and Westchase BBQ will serve up food. Proceeds from the day’s beer sales will be donated to the foundation.
