Florida’s Most Popular Restaurant
MIAMI BEACH, FL – Joe’s Stone Crab, the legendary eatery in Miami Beach that specializes in seasonal stone crab claws, was deemed Florida’s most popular restaurant by People Magazine.
Working with experts at Zagat, diner ratings and Google scores, the magazine recently ran a list of the most popular restaurants in every U.S. state, including Washington, D.C.
“Crowds head to this famous seafood place for its killer seafood stone crabs, as well as its famed key lime pie and fried chicken,” the magazine stated.
In business for more than 100 years, the establishment is renown for its tuxedoed servers and repeat clientele, who don’t seem to mind the long lines and no-reservation policy.
Zagat diners rate Joe’s Stone Crab with a 4.7 for food, 4.2 for decor and a 4.5-rating for service, on a scale from 1 to 5, where 5 is the most favorable rating.
“Not sure what heaven looks like but it can’t look too much different than Joe’s,” wrote one reviewer, who gave the establishment five stars. “Joe’s has been a part of my family since I was a baby. Feels like home every time. If you have not been, then it should be on your bucket list; that good. Five stars is barely adequate, Google will one day reserve a sixth for Joe’s.”
Joe’s is closed annually from late summer to mid-October.
